Description

The Silkie is a feather legged variety that originated in Asia. Due to their silky feathering, crest, feathered shanks, five toes, and dark skin, the Silkies are a very popular bird. They are very broody and often used as foster moms for other eggs. Both bearded and non-bearded varieties can be included in the order.
